Several grand challenges confront humanity in the 21st century, from feeding the world’s booming population to managing scarce natural resources and reducing our carbon footprint. The Grand Challenge Lecture Series explores these and other challenges and the possible solutions to them.
Dr Henrik Christensen will present at the lecture, Opportunities and Challenges in Robotics where he will present the most significant drivers, and biggest challenges faced in the deployment of robots. He will also outline some of the key research questions to be addressed for major new progress and present new use cases that exemplify state-of-the-art ongoing research.
